I work on knowledge architecture and data governance — the structures that make information findable, legible, and trustworthy inside organizations — and run a civic-technology program, CivCitDev, on the side. I treat governance less as rulemaking and more as a design problem: if the governed path is easier than the ungoverned one, people take it without being told to.

Currently: working the enterprise-taxonomy and data-governance beat at Meridian by day; tending the garden at cognitivearchitecture.ca — lately frameworks for working well with machines: partnership compacts, prototyping methods, adoption competency; and keeping CivCitDev moving on civic tooling for Ontario tenants.
